Privacy Policy

When you sign up for and use the Matrex Global manufacturing ERP platform, we collect the following categories of data:

• Account Information: Company name, owner name, work email address, phone number, and the industry type (Metal, Plastics, or Paper) and business type (Domestic, International, or Both) you select during sign-up.
• Business & Operational Data: Data you enter into the platform — including raw materials, purchase orders, production orders, inventory items, sales orders, invoices, dispatch challans, import/export contracts, CHA entries, accounts, and reports. This data belongs entirely to you.
• Master Data: Grade masters, size masters, machine masters, operator masters, transporter masters, scrap type masters, and UOM masters that you configure for your industry.
• Authentication Data: Encrypted passwords, OTP verification tokens, and staff login credentials (name, email, role) that you create within the system.
• Usage Data: Browser type, device type, and pages visited — collected anonymously to improve performance and identify errors.

We use your data solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Matrex platform for your business:

• Platform Operation: To process your purchase orders, production orders, inventory transactions, sales invoices, import/export documents, accounts, and reports as you enter them.
• AI Assistant: Your business data (inventory levels, raw materials, dispatches) is used by the built-in AI chatbot to answer your queries in plain English. This data is not shared with any third-party AI provider for training purposes.
• Notifications: To send you email and WhatsApp notifications for low stock alerts, ETA delays, and other operational events you configure.
• Support: To help diagnose and resolve technical issues you report to our support team.

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption). Passwords are stored as salted hashes and are never stored or transmitted in plain text. Staff access within your organisation is controlled by role-based permissions (Super Admin, Manager, Staff) that you manage.

We do not sell, rent, or share your business data with any third parties for commercial purposes. Data may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: Infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, email delivery) that process data only on our behalf and under strict confidentiality obligations.
• Legal Requirements: If required by applicable Indian law or a valid court order.

You own all the business data you enter into Matrex. You can export your data at any time. If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data, contact us and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.
